Pedro Raul could string together his first starts of 2026, with Fernando Diniz expected to keep him in the line-up.
According to Meu Timao, the forward could see more minutes with Memphis Depay yet to have his renewal announced, Yuri Alberto treating a right hamstring injury, and Kayke and Vitinho still in post-surgery recovery.
Despite Corinthians’ Copa do Brasil exit to Internacional in the last 16, his first start of the year was encouraging. He ended a personal drought of more than one year and six months by scoring the second goal in a 2-1 win.
His most recent back-to-back starts for Corinthians came in August 2024, a 2-1 win over Red Bull Bragantino in the Sudamericana then a 0-0 draw with Fluminense in the league. Since then, across almost two years, he has started only nine more matches.
Pedro Raul spent February to December 2025 on loan at Ceará, returning at the start of this season. For Corinthians he has 66 appearances, 19 as a starter, with five goals, four assists and a 50% points return since his 2024 debut.
Corinthians sit ninth on 29 points and need their attack, Pedro Raul included, to push higher. They visit Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday at 18:30, at Estádio Municipal de Bragança Paulista.
