Police received a tip that fans were stealing drinks. Three coaches were surrounded at the station in the Morretes neighbourhood at KM 170 of the BR-101 at around 21:00. Eight bottles of whisky were recovered.

The detainee was taken to the Civil Police station in Itapema, the neighbouring city. Officers seized a backpack with clothes and a mobile phone.

Security camera footage from inside the premises helped identify the suspect. He remains at the disposal of the courts as legal procedures continue.

The operation involved the Tactical Platoon and police teams from Itapema and Tijucas.
