PSV beat Heerenveen 3-1 in Eindhoven on Saturday to remain top of the Eredivisie, coming from behind through Ivan Perišić, Myron Boadu and a late Ricardo Pepi strike.

In the 21st minute, Lasse Nordas swept Heerenveen ahead from Ringo Meerveld's pass. On the stroke of half time, Ivan Perišić levelled from the left after Joey Veerman picked him out (45.). After the restart, Myron Boadu finished off Paul Wanner's break to turn it around (48.).

Matej Kovar made smart stops in the opening exchanges to keep the deficit at one, and the visitors continued to threaten from crosses after the interval.

Ricardo Pepi had a goal ruled out after a VAR review (79.) before drilling in from outside the box to seal the points from Ismael Saibari's pass (87.).

Boeren posted 29 attempts and controlled 65.3% possession. Veerman leads the Eredivisie for assists with 12.

Next, Boeren visit Heracles. Heerenveen host Sparta Rotterdam.
