Aston Villa playmaker Philippe Coutinho is set to seal a temporary move away from the club.
The Express & Star report that the out-of-favour Brazil international will soon complete a season-long switch to Qatari side Al-Duhail.
Coutinho join the Villains permanently from Barcelona last summer for a reported £17m after a loan spell in which he scored five goals from 19 outings.
But the 31-year-old’s downturn in fortunes, with just one goal in his next 24 appearances, opened the door to link up with Hernán Crespo’s side.
Al-Duhail will reportedly pay Coutinho’s salary, said to be £125,000 per week, for the duration of his stay with them.
Villa host Crystal Palace on 16 September in their first game after the international break, having won two of their opening four Premier League games.
