Tottenham players Wilson Odobert and Randal Kolo Muani were involved in minor car accident but are fit to face Eintracht Frankfurt.

What happened to the Tottenham players?

Two Tottenham Hotspur player, Wilson Odobert & Randal Kolo Muani were involved in car accident on Tuesday while traveling to the airport.

Photos shared on social media showed the players standing on the roadside next to black Ferrari with visible damage on the right side and deployed airbag.

Despite the images both players appeared calm and were receiving assistance at the scene.

Club confirms no injuries

Tottenham later confirmed that no injuries were reported.

Head coach Thomas Frank addressed the incident during his pre match press conference ahead of Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Frank explained that the accident was caused by tyre blowout on Kolo Muani’s car.

Odobert who was traveling in separate vehicle, stopped to check on his teammate. Both players delayed but later flew out to Germany on Tuesday evening.

The Spurs manager said everyone involved was fine and confirmed that both players are expected to be available for selection.

Focus turns back to Champions League

Despite the travel delay, Odobert and Kolo Muani trained earlier at Tottenham’s Hotspur Way facility before the incident. Frank said he fully expects both players to be in the right condition to feature in Wednesday’s match.

Tottenham currently sit fifth in the Champions League league phase and are aiming to secure place in the top eight which would ensure direct qualification to the knockout stage.
