Everton entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier today as they looked to start with a win in their new home ground. The Toffees made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 23rd minute when Iliman Ndiaye scored from close range. David Moyes’ men controlled the game and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

James Garner doubled Everton’s advantage with a stunning strike in the 52nd minute as the Toffees cruised to an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.
