Roma have announced that they will use a modernised version of one of the team’s historic emblems as the club crest for the 2025-26 season onwards.

The Giallorossi have used three slightly different versions of the same crest since the year 1997, but will now revert to a modernised version of the logo that the team has worn twice previously, between 1950-59 and 1961-77.

New AS Roma logo for the 2025-26 season

“It reflects our belief that the symbols of a Club matter, and that honoring our roots is essential to building our future.

“Our family’s commitment to Roma has never been stronger. It is a commitment to excellence, to structure, to a clear identity. But above all, it is a commitment to the future of this Club — a future that includes a new stadium: a home worthy of our fans, a legacy for the next generations, and a gift from the Club to this eternal city. A majestic new colosseum, one we promise to deliver.

“We are truly humbled to be guardians of AS Roma. We are honor bound, completely committed, and faithfully dedicated to the preservation of everything that makes your Club and this city the best in the world.

“Together, as a team, we will continue to grow, to fight, to dream, and win.”

The club also confirmed in their end-of-season statement that Claudio Ranieri will continue as ‘manager and senior advisor to the ownership’ from this summer onwards.
