Pinterest has announced a four-year sponsorship with Brighton & Hove Albion Women, the club’s first solo deal, with its brand to feature on the back of the team’s shirts.
According to TheArgus.co.uk, the logo will make its debut in the pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday 9 August.
Pinterest executive Louise Foley said football fandom begins long before kick-off, from outfits and banners to the friends you go with. She added that the platform helps ideas move from online to real life, aiming to make each match feel more personal and memorable for supporters.
The partnership will extend beyond branding, focusing on matchday experiences, grassroots engagement, player storytelling and work with creators. It also aims to inspire fans across the city and build momentum as the club prepares to move to a new stadium.
Zoe Johnson, managing director of women’s and girls’ football at Brighton & Hove Albion, said the club looks forward to collaborating to celebrate the players, fans, community and culture that define Brighton & Hove and the women’s team.
The tie-up reflects Pinterest’s wider investment in women’s sport, following its official partnership with the New York Liberty. It also aligns with its aim to turn online inspiration into real experiences, encouraging fans to bring creativity to matchday style, banners and rituals around the women’s game.
