Felipe Loyola, a leading Santos target this window, is being moved from Independiente to Pisa on an initial loan with an obligation to buy, according to Diario Do Peixe. The structure follows the Italian club’s Financial Fair Play issues.
Pisa will pay seven point two million euros for 70% of his economic rights if he makes three appearances. The club sit 19th with 13 points.
Santos had reached broad agreement with the player and Independiente, but Huachipato, who own a share of his rights, halted the move. The three-club proposal was six million dollars for 80%, split 40% each between Independiente and Huachipato. With an outstanding debt, Independiente would have received less and Santos would have taken on the liability.
Huachipato refused to deal with Santos due to the row over the signing of Soteldo. They insisted the payment be made directly by Independiente, and no agreement was reached.
A regular for Independiente in 2025, Loyola played 42 matches and scored nine goals, boosting his market value. Santos also tried to sign him mid 2025 but met resistance. He can operate in midfield or at right-back.
