Felipe Laurindo to be assessed by Santos after Cianorte exit | OneFootball

Santos will assess forward Felipe Laurindo after his Cianorte loan ended with a Série D round of 16 exit. According to Diario Do Peixe, Leão do Vale have no fixtures for the rest of the year and the forward remains in training there.

Under a transfer ban, Santos cannot register new signings but can recall loanees, as happened with Gustavo Caballero. Cuca’s staff and the club’s football department will analyse Laurindo, who could offer another attacking option.

He is under contract until 30 November. If the club judge he will not add to the squad, he can sign a pre-contract and join any other side for free.

For Cianorte this season he made two Paranaense appearances, recorded two assists in six Copa Sul-Sudeste games and featured in 11 Série D matches. Earlier this year he played the Copinha for Santos, scoring one goal in four outings.

He then aged out of the youth ranks and, in January, coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda opted for him to gain minutes away from the club.

The first of his three ACL injuries arrived in May 2021 in his left knee during Under-17 preparations. The second followed in April 2022, with an ACL rupture and meniscus damage. The latest was on 26 May 2024 in a 4-0 win over Mauá at Pedro Benedetti in Paulista Sub-20 round 7.
