Pivot leaves Corinthians Futsal after one season, joins Paraná club

Israel Neto’s time with Corinthians futsal has come to an end after just one season. The pivot will not remain with the club from Parque São Jorge and was confirmed, on Thursday afternoon, as the new player for Cascavel, a traditional team in Brazilian futsal, where he will play starting in 2026.

The official announcement was made by the Paraná club itself on social media. “Pivot Israel is the new signing for Cascavel Futsal for the 2026 season! Coming off a great season with Corinthians, where he reached the final of the National Futsal League, Israel arrives at the Greatest in Paraná”, the team posted.

Before wearing the black and white jersey, Israel Neto played for Santo André, the club where he had the best moment of his career and caught the attention of Corinthians. However, once in São Paulo, the athlete faced frequent physical problems, especially injuries, which made it difficult for him to have a longer run of appearances.

Even so, Israel’s numbers for Corinthians were significant. In total, the pivot played 41 matches, scored 16 goals, and provided two assists. He took part in winning the Taça SP and the Torneo Mucho Más, as well as being runner-up in the Campeonato Paulista and the National Futsal League with Timão.
