Player happy at Chelsea despite holding talks with another club to leave | OneFootball

Every day we hear a new rumour about Joao Pedro possibly leaving Chelsea already this summer, and the noise gets louder.

Pedro only joined the club from Brighton last summer and he’s had a very good first season at the club. He’s one of only a few Chelsea players who can hold their head high after a terrible season for the club.

As is the case for many Chelsea players though, all we are hearing is rumours about him potentially leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, and you know what they say? There is never smoke without fire.

As is how this one is going right now, another day, and another story on Pedro leaving.

As we keep hearing, Joao Pedro is happy at Chelsea and the club stance is that he is NOT for sale at any price, as reiterated once again by The Daily Mail journalist Kieran Gill and a bunch of others at the same time in a clearly briefed bit of news via Chelsea last night.

So, why is Pedro’s agents meeting Barcelona director Deco in London then?

If Pedro is so happy here and there’s no chance of him leaving at all, why is he talking to Barcelona?

As has been reported by Spanish sources as well as Fabrizio Romano, Deco has been in London and has had meetings with Pedro’s agent just this week.

Chelsea don’t want to sell, but it certainly seems that Pedro wants to go to Barcelona. Why keep a player who wants so desperately to leave?
