Roma beat Lazio 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, compounding a miserable week for the Biancocelesti in a bruising Derby della Capitale.

Lazio had openings before the interval, but Gianluca Mancini’s header put the Giallorossi in front at half-time. The defender repeated the feat after the break to seal it and stood out as the clear man of the match. According to The Laziali, here are the visitors’ player ratings.

Alessio Furlanetto rated six, he made six saves and got hands to both goals, but the power beat him.

Adam Maruric five and a half, some joy against Wesley but little going forward. Mario Gila five, composed yet twice outjumped by Mancini. Oliver Provstgaard six, solid against Donyell Malen, and Nuno Tavares five, almost scored an own goal and was wasteful.

Toma Basic five, off the pace with fitness doubts apparent. Nicolo Rovella four and a half, struggled to link play and was sent off after a clash with Wesley. Kenneth Taylor five and a half, unable to match Roma’s tempo after the restart.

Matteo Cancellieri five and a half, lively early then faded. Boulaye Dia five, a few neat passes but little presence as the spearhead. Tijjani Noslin six, again the sharpest threat and a low effort whistled just wide.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru five and a half, no marked upgrade on Taylor. Daniel Maldini six, direct and willing but unable to affect the result.
