Players who played for both Real Sociedad and Barcelona | OneFootball

Many have worn both Real Sociedad and Barcelona shirts over the past five decades.

According to AS, Artola played for Real Sociedad in 1971-75, then for Barcelona in 1975-84. Urrutikoetxea played for Real Sociedad in 1973-76, then Barcelona in 1981-87.

Perico Alonso represented Real Sociedad between 1977 and 1982, then Barcelona from 1982 to 1985. Bakero switched from Real Sociedad 1980-88 to Barcelona 1988-97. Beguiristain did likewise, Real Sociedad 1982-88 then Barcelona 1988-95.

López Rekarte was at Real Sociedad from 1985 to 1988, then presented by Barcelona on 1 July 1988, staying to 1991. Jon Andoni Goikoetxea played for Real Sociedad in 1988-90 before Barcelona from 1990 to 1994. Meho Kodro featured for Real Sociedad 1991-95, then Barcelona in 1995-96.

Claudio Bravo played for Real Sociedad from 2006 to 2014, then Barcelona from 2014 to 2017. Oier Olazábal played for Barcelona’s B team between 2007 and 2014, appearing twice for the first team, then for Real Sociedad in 2015-16.

Sandro was at Barcelona from 2012 to 2016, then spent 2018-19 on loan at Real Sociedad. Antoine Griezmann progressed at Real Sociedad until 2014, then joined Barcelona in July 2019 for €120 million and played until 2022. Rafinha Alcántara came through Barcelona and featured intermittently from 2011 to 2018, then played for Real Sociedad in 2021-22. Iñigo Martínez rose at Real Sociedad in 2011-12 and remained until January 2018, then after six seasons at Athletic Club he joined Barcelona in June 2023 on a two-year deal.
