Pol Lirola has left Marseille after being released and has signed for Hellas Verona on a deal until the end of the season. The move was announced on Sunday.
The Spanish right-back joined Olympique de Marseille in January 2021 before a string of loans to Elche and Frosinone. According to L'Équipe, he has now left France permanently.

Marseille paid €13m to recruit him, yet he departs without a transfer fee.
Lirola made 95 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing eight assists.
This season the 28-year-old was not in Roberto De Zerbi’s plans and featured only three times, totalling 31 minutes.
