Talks between FC Porto and Roma over Rodrigo Mora have stalled after the Italian club's terms failed to satisfy the Portuguese side.

Negotiations ran into the early hours but no agreement was found. O Jogo reports that, despite progress on Tuesday, the clubs could not align on key conditions.

The main sticking point is the clause concerning an obligation to buy. Roma did not present the conditions required for an obligation at the end of the season, leaving Porto unconvinced and talks at an impasse.

Porto proposed a loan fee of 10 million euros, with an option to buy that could become an obligation set at 40 million euros. The package also included performance-related add-ons and a percentage of any future sale.

Under that structure, Roma would pay the salary in full. With discussions paused for now, the situation remains unresolved.
