Porto hit back at Benfica amid a refereeing row, after beating Alverca 2-0 in their Liga Portugal Betclic opener with both goals coming from the spot.

The club had already aimed a dig at Benfica after their Supertaça win, stating that with that triumph the National Champions now have 88 trophies and have expanded what they called the country’s most packed museum collection.
