A giant banner recalling the "Taça das Pedradas" was unfurled at Estádio do Dragão as Porto faced Sporting in the Taça de Portugal semi-final.

According to O Jogo, the display appeared before kick-off in the second leg of the tie between the rivals.

The banner referenced Porto’s 1993/94 cup triumph over Sporting, a final remembered for ugly scenes at Jamor.

That match was marred by stones thrown by Sporting supporters at Porto players, an incident that overshadowed the occasion.

Rui Jorge, João Pinto and Vítor Baía were depicted on the banner lifting the trophy.
