Portugal and Al Hilal full-back spotted again in a Corinthians shirt

Right-back João Cancelo, currently at Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia and a regular in the Portugal national team, has been seen again wearing the Corinthians shirt. The moment was shared by Malcom, a striker who started at Parque São Jorge and is now a teammate of the Portuguese player in Saudi football.

In the post, Malcom showed Cancelo from the back wearing the black and white uniform used by Timão in 2024, with the player's name printed on it. The Brazilian even joked in the caption: "My guy is so Corinthians". The scene quickly gained traction among fans on social media.

However, this is not an isolated incident. Cancelo has appeared on other occasions wearing the club's shirts. In December 2024, he posed again with Malcom wearing the same model from the previous season. Before that, in August, he was photographed in a Lisbon shopping mall wearing the 2021 uniform.

The Portuguese player's relationship with Timão has been explained by the athlete himself. In June of this year, he revealed his admiration for the Corinthians fans and said he identified with the club, including its colors. According to Cancelo, Brazilian friends — especially Malcom — reinforced this bond, always praising the passion of the Fiel.

At 31 years old, Cancelo continues to shine on the international scene. Since 2024 he has been defending Al Hilal, but he has on his resume stints with European giants such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Juventus, Inter Milan, Valencia, and Benfica.
