Real Sociedad left-back Kévin Rodrigues has been given a late call-up to the Portugal squad ahead of their game against Italy this weekend.
The Seleção face the Azzurri at San Siro on Saturday evening looking for the three points that would guarantee them a place in the last four of the Nations League next year.
And they will do with the 24-year-old, who has been drafted in at the last minute as a potential replacement for Raphaël Guerreiro who sat out Portugal’s latest session with a muscle complaint.
Record believes that Rodrigues could in fact make only his third appearance for the national team on Saturday or in their game with Poland on Tuesday.
