Pepe - Cristiano Ronaldo
In a recent interview, Pepe shared his thoughts on the impending retirement of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo is determined to play in the 2026 World Cup with Portugal. But what comes after that? The former Real Madrid star, now 40, has never set a specific date for hanging up his boots. And his ex-teammate Pepe isn’t eager to see the Al-Nassr icon call time on his career anytime soon.
"When will he stop? No one really knows (smiles). Cristiano keeps breaking records and I’m really happy for him. Beyond being a phenomenal player and an incredible person, he’s a friend, and I hope he can keep playing for many more years. I think it’ll be tough for us, the fans, when he decides to retire. It’ll be hard to turn on the TV and not see Cristiano’s name there," the former center-back said in an interview with beIN Sports.
