Ange Postecoglou is still searching for his first Premier League win as Nottingham Forest were held to a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

Forest got off to a flying start, and just two minutes in Neco Williams unleashed a thunderous shot from the edge of the box that left Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka stranded.

Burnley hit back in the 20th minute when Jaidon Anthony capitalised on a scuffed cross from Loum Tchaouna and a tangled Zinchenko to bundle the ball into his own net.

Forest had opportunities to retake the lead before the break. Dilane Bakwa and Chris Wood tested Dúbravka, while Tchaouna’s curling free-kick rattled the bar, leaving the visitors frustrated.

After the interval, the hosts started the brighter side, with Anthony coming close again and forcing another smart save from Matz Sels.

The visitors gradually grew into the game, with substitute Igor Jesus nearly giving them the lead with a header, and Arnaud Kalimuendo seeing a late effort blocked.

Despite some encouraging spells of football, Forest couldn’t find a way past Dúbravka, leaving Postecoglou still waiting for his first league victory.
