Alex Iwobi could be adding another accolade to his trophy cabinet. The Nigerian attacking midfielder has been nominated for the Premier League Goal of the Month for February, thanks to his stunning strike in the 85th minute against Sunderland during the Cottagers' 3–1 victory at the Stadium of Light.

This nomination comes exactly two years after he last claimed the same award in February 2024. Other contenders for the title include the likes of Raúl Jiménez, Kevin, Jonah Kusi-Asare, Harrison Reed, Anna Grey, and Macauley Zepa.

Since his arrival from Everton in September 2023, Iwobi has already netted 18 Premier League goals, cementing his status as one of Fulham’s main attacking threats.
