Premier League and Serie A clubs interested in Charlie Cresswell | OneFootball

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Charlie Cresswell (22) will be allowed to leave Toulouse FC this summer. The England youth international has already caught the attention of Premier League and Serie A sides.

The centre-back arrived in the south of France last summer in a deal that was reportedly worth €4.5m. After a mixed start to his campaign, notably the Englishman was at fault for all three of Olympique de Marseille’s goals in the 3-1 loss in August, he quickly found his feet.

Cresswell played a key role in Carles Martínez Novell’s squad, making 34 appearances and starting every game (except two matches where he was suspended for picking up too many yellow cards) from the eighth game week.

Interest has grown this summer with the centre-back helping England to win back-to-back UEFA European Under-21 Championships. Toulouse reportedly would not be against a departure and would likely secure a nice fee for a player with a contract lasting until 2028.
