Sevilla’s Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri has long been linked with a move away from the Andalucian capital. Now, Diario AS reports that no less than three English clubs will compete over the 27-year-old’s signature.

With 20 goals and two assists in 41 games across all competitions last season, the Moroccan World Cup hero is a hot commodity for clubs in the English top flight.

The three main suitors for En-Nesyri are reported to be Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Aston Villa. Sevilla have set their asking price at €30 million, but Transfermarkt values the player at €18 million.

West Ham and Aston Villa present the most interesting options, as they would both see reunions with personnel whom the player knows from his time at Sevilla; Julen Lopetegui is manager at West Ham, and Monchi sporting director at Aston Villa.

The prospect of returning to Lopetegui’s tutelage may prove enticing to the striker, as it was under the Spaniard that he saw his best output, scoring 24 times in the 2020/21 season.

En-Nesyri has already rejected West Ham twice in the past, but perhaps it will be third time lucky for the Irons this time around.
