Premier League: Chelsea and Liverpool held, Villa in a nightmare

Chelsea failed to respond after last week’s defeat at Arsenal. The Blues were held to a 2-2 draw by surprise promoted side Hull City.

Liverpool, for their part, were unable to make it two league wins in a row. The Reds picked up just a single point (0-0) against Fulham, their third draw in four matches.

Aston Villa’s nightmare start to the season continues, as they lost for the third time in four games, this time 2-1 at home to Nottingham Forest. Unai Emery and his players are 19th.

Other results this Saturday: Ipswich confirmed their strong start to the campaign with a 3-2 win at Crystal Palace; Bournemouth and Brentford played out a spectacular 2-2 draw!
