Premier League interest in Francesco Pio Esposito is growing rapidly, but Inter have no intention of letting their teenage striker go cheaply, or at all.

According to transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, via FCInter1908, clubs in England are already preparing huge bids, with figures as high as €80m being mentioned in scouting circles. The Nerazzurri, however, see the forward as a key part of their long-term project and would be expected to turn down any such approach.

Inter came back from two goals down in a home Serie A clash against Pisa, completing a comeback with Piotr Zielinski, Lautaro Martinez and Francesco Pio Esposito in the opening Round 22 match.

Esposito’s development has not gone unnoticed abroad. Even during his loan spell at Spezia last season, Premier League scouts were regular observers, tracking his physical presence, movement and maturity beyond his years.

Inter ready to refuse big offers for Pio Esposito

That attention has only intensified as he continues to grow within Inter’s system.

From the club’s perspective, this is less a transfer opportunity and more a signal of how highly their academy product is now rated across Europe.

Rather than cashing in, Inter are more likely to move in the opposite direction, securing his future with a contract extension designed to fend off interest and reinforce his status in the squad hierarchy.

The message from Milan is clear: Esposito is not on the market. And if England really does come calling with blockbuster offers, they are expected to meet a firm and immediate no.
