Wolves are on the hunt for a new manager after the decision to sack Vitor Pereira this weekend.

The Portuguese coach was sacked after Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Fulham, a result that leaves Wolves winless after 10 games and bottom of the Premier League table.

Pereira lasted just 11 months in charge at Molineux, with results having dipped alarmingly since a positive initial impact.

For the second straight season, Wolves have started a season winless in their opening 10 games and will again look for a mid-season appointment to turn around their fortunes.

Pereira’s exit also means Premier League clubs have set a new record for sackings in 2025/26. There have already been four permanent managers sacked this season, and there have never previously been more at this stage of a campaign (November 3rd). There had been just one managerial change at the same stage last season.

Premier League managerial sackings 2025/26

  • Nuno Espirito Santo – Nottingham Forest (September 9th)
  • Graham Potter – West Ham United (September 27th)
  • Ange Postecoglou – Nottingham Forest (October 18th)
  • Vitor Pereira – Wolves (November 2nd)
