Premier League transfers so far as Leeds rivals lose star and Everton land £24m midfielder

The summer transfer window has been open for two and a half weeks as Leeds United prepare for their second season back in the Premier League. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, a star has left a predicted key Leeds rival and Everton have added a £24m midfielder.
Arsenal have made Piero Hincapie’s loan permanent for £25m, with Jakub Kiwior and Karl Hein leaving on permanent deals after loans. Samuel Onyekachukwu is among eight players released.
Aston Villa have agreed a pre-contract for Modou Keba Cisse. Bournemouth have no signings. Marco Rose is in as head coach and Andoni Iraola has left for Liverpool. Exits include Marcos Senesi to Tottenham after his contract expired, plus Luis Sinisterra to Cruizeiro, Michael Dacosta Gonzalez to Moreirense and Hamed Traore to Marseille.
Brentford have signed Jannik Schuster from Red Bull Salzburg for £17.2m. Reiss Nelson has returned to Arsenal after a loan, with Frank Onyeka to Coventry City, Ethan Brierley to Huddersfield Town, Michael Olakigbe on loan to WSG Tirol and Ryan Trevitt released.
Brighton have added Pascal Struijk for £18m, Michael Svoboda for £4.3m, Rodrigo Rego for £3m, Zadok Yohanna for £21.5m and Costinha for £11m. Jan Paul van Hecke has joined Tottenham for £52m, Jeremy Sarmiento has left for Middlesbrough, James Milner has retired and Joel Veltman, Solly March and Adam Webster have moved on at contract end.
Chelsea have signed Marco Palestra from Atalanta for £43m and appointed Xabi Alonso as head coach. Marc Cucurella has joined Real Madrid for £51.8m and Jimmy-Jay Morgan has moved to West Brom for £4m.
