The last meeting between the two teams ended with Watford winning 2-0.

The Fan Zone

Cory Hancock (Rams Review Podcast): The international break came at the wrong time for Derby County. The Rams have won five consecutive league games and were in their best form of the season before the stoppage. Can Derby keep the momentum? That's the big question!

Carlton Morris has been on fire and is joint top of the Championship goal scoring charts. He's a showing his quality at this level and is the quickest player to score 10 goals at Championship level for Derby in a while. Goalkeeper Jacob Zetterstrom was rewarded with his fine performances with his first competitive start of Sweden during the break. His uptick in form (and Derby's as a whole) can be tied to the return of defender Sondre Langas. Langas was away with Norway during the break and has transformed Derby defensively. The Rams are now back to looking the solid unit they were at the tail end of last season.

Joe Ward is another player who has been in great form and hopefully it continues. Ward is having a bit of renaissance after a few indifferent years in the East Midlands. His crossing and dead ball delivery are key weapons for Derby, especially with Morris and Patrick Ageymang lurking in the box.

Watford won't be easy. The Hornets will be looking to get a victory as well to propel them closer to the playoff places, so it is all to play for at Pride Park. The home support will be behind their team as always. Derby's attack has been very good of late and hopefully that will continue. The Rams to win 2-0!

Prediction: 2-0
