Sunderland’s recruitment under Regis Le Bris has drawn focus, yet a sizeable group have departed on loan as the club secured Premier League safety.
According to Sunderland Echo, Simon Adingra has three goals in 10 for Monaco and featured in both legs of their Champions League play-off with Paris Saint-Germain. Alan Browne is central to Middlesbrough’s promotion tilt, making 33 appearances with four goals and one assist for Kim Hellberg’s side.
Goalkeeper Anthony Patterson has three clean sheets in seven for Millwall and is Alex Neil’s first choice. Dan Neil has 10 outings for Ipswich Town and there is speculation he could join permanently when his contract expires at season’s end.
Jenson Seelt has 10 appearances for Wolfsburg, though a knee injury and illness have curtailed recent progress. Arthur Masuaku has played twice for Lens, and was sent off during the warm-up before a Coupe de France quarter-final with Lyon. Leo Hjelde has five Championship games for Sheffield United as he works back from injury.
Timothee Pembele has seven appearances for Le Havre. Aji Alese suffered a serious groin injury after a single substitute outing in Portsmouth’s 1-0 loss to Preston North End. Zak Johnson has 20 games for York City and scored his first goal in a 3-0 win at Wealdstone.
Luis Semedo has two goals, finding the net in draws with Estoril and Nacional, and has rotated in Morierense’s side. Milan Aleksic has two assists in eight for Cracovia. Niall Huggins has 20 outings for Wycombe, seven as a starter, and Nazariy Rusyn has four goals in 21 for Arka Gdynia.
