During PSG's 2-1 victory over FC Barcelona on Wednesday in the Champions League, Nuno Mendes largely got the better of his matchup with Lamine Yamal. Speaking to the press after the match, the Portuguese full-back discussed this face-off with his Spanish counterpart.

"In every match, I try to do my best and help the team as much as possible. We know that in big games, with top-level players, people will talk about these duels. The most important thing is that I helped the team and stayed consistent after picking up a yellow card, because it's tough to defend against a player like Lamine when you're on a booking. I managed that well. I think it was a good match for the team, and also individually." he said.
