According to L'Équipe, the LFP disciplinary commission has imposed two partial closures of the Auteuil stand for two matches and a €10,000 fine on PSG, following incidents during the 5-0 win over OM.
In the one-sided Classique on Sunday 8 February, match delegates recorded around 100 flares set off by home supporters. Fans also unfurled a large banner referencing delivery firm DPD with a slogan portraying Marseillais as delivery drivers, plus another that likened them to rats.
Around the 70th minute, referee Willy Delajod briefly halted play because of discriminatory chants from sections of the Paris crowd, during which the stadium announcer urged them to stop and warned the match could be abandoned.
PSG appeared before the commission on Wednesday evening in relation to their supporters’ behaviour during the Classique.
The punishment takes immediate effect. The partial closures in Auteuil will apply to PSG-Metz on Saturday at 21:05 and PSG-Monaco on 6 March at 20:45.
