Paris Saint Germain's preparations for their Champions League Group Stage clash with Barcelona have taken another hit with captain Marquinhos ruled out through injury.

According to Le Parisien, the Brazilian defender will miss Wednesday's high profile meeting at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

A club medical statement confirmed he's sustained quadriceps injury in his left leg and will undergo treatment in the coming weeks.

PSG further revealed that Joao Neves, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue remain in rehabilitation for muscular issues leaving coach Luis Enrique short of options as he faces his former club.
