Paris Saint-Germain lost their grip on Ligue 1’s top spot after being held to a 1-1 draw by Nice.

Despite dominating possession in the first half, PSG did not create many goal scoring opportunities, and found themselves behind at the break.
They didn’t do enough when clearing a corner, and Ali Al-Abdi saw his shot from outside the box deflect off a defender and into the net past Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The champions responded quickly after the break, equalising through Nuno Mendes after Ousmane Dembélé laid it off to the defender on the edge of the penalty area.
But Luis Enrique’s side head into the October international break behind Monaco with two points separating them from the summit.
