PSG: Neves and Ruiz edging closer to return!

This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain (2nd) will face Brest (12th) at Stade Francis Le-Blé as part of the 9th day of Ligue 1 2025-2026 (kick-off at 5 PM, broadcast on beIN SPORTS). This morning, ahead of the group announcement, Le Parisien provided an update on the absences of João Neves (21-year-old midfielder) and Fabian Ruiz (29 years old).

“While João Neves resumed collective exercises on Friday, this is not yet the case for Fabian Ruiz, who continued to train separately. Absent from competition since his adductor injury in Barcelona during the Champions League (1-2) on October 1st, the Spanish midfielder is still fine-tuning his return. This should happen very soon, but likely not this Saturday during the trip to Brest.”

We are therefore heading towards new absences for Ruiz and Neves for this match, but their returns are close. It is not even impossible for the latter to return this Saturday. Next week, the Parisian group could be complete, provided there are no unpleasant surprises by then. Fingers crossed.
