Paris Saint-Germain marked Kylian Mbappé’s birthday on social media despite being ordered by the Paris labour tribunal to pay him €61 million.

The message landed four days after the ruling, according to L'Équipe.

Now a Real Madrid forward, Mbappé turns 27 on 20 December 2025.

Relations between the club and their former captain remain strained, reflected in Tuesday’s hearing in Paris.

The European champions chose a diplomatic tone online, but their hierarchy are not inclined to make concessions to their record goalscorer.
