Double European champions PSG begin their Champions League defence against Slovan Bratislava.

This is the clubs’ first Champions League meeting. They have faced only twice before, in the 2011 Europa League group stage, PSG won 1-0 in Paris through Javier Pastore from a Nenê pass, then drew 0-0 in Slovakia.
