The Paris Saint-Germain women’s team have had three defeats by forfeit confirmed on appeal over a licensing issue involving Canadian player Florianne Jourde.
According to AFP, the ruling was upheld on Wednesday. The French vice-champions, who called the punishment completely disproportionate, intend to pursue all avenues of appeal via the CNOSF then the TAS.
PSG were sanctioned by the FFF on 22 December 2025 after a complaint from Fleury, beaten 4-0 on 8 November. Jourde did not have a FIFA international transfer certificate, required to obtain a licence when changing club. Paris said it had acted in good faith and transparency, noting the FFF had validated the move by issuing her a licence.
The forfeit applied to that match and was extended to the two previous league fixtures, also victories, against Le Havre, 2-0, and Strasbourg, 1-0. Results before those games were considered time-barred.
The penalty has dropped PSG to fifth in the table. They lost 1-0 to leaders Lyon and now approach the derby against second-placed Paris FC on Saturday at 21:05.
