PSG’s Senny Mayulu sustains injury on France U21 duty | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain’s Senny Mayulu (20) has sustained an injury while featuring for France’s U21 side. Whilst Gérald Baticle’s side beat Estonia 2-0 on Tuesday, there were a couple of casualties from the game.

Ethan Mbappé was the major casualty. Baticle admitted that he was “worried” about the Lille OSC midfielder, who was stretchered off with an ankle injury towards the start of the encounter. However, later in the game, he also lost Mayulu to injury. The PSG player is now a doubt for the remainder of the international break.

Mayulu was forced off just before half-time. Speaking post-match, Baticle said that the PSG academy product was suffering with pain in his left thigh. His substitution was a precaution, with no risks taken. The midfielder has not featured as prominently for Les Parisiens this season, playing just four games in all competitions; he has even missed out on matchday squads this season.
