PSV and AZ meet in the Eredivisie on Saturday, 7 March 2026 in Eindhoven, with the leaders looking to tighten their grip on top spot and the visitors aiming to reinforce their European play-off bid.
PSV sit first with 65 points and dominated the reverse fixture, winning 5-1 in Alkmaar in November. AZ arrive in sixth and have mixed recent results against the league's pacesetters.
Boeren have won four of their last five league games, including victories over Feyenoord, Heerenveen and Heracles. AZ's league form is patchier, with two wins from five, including a home success against Sparta Rotterdam but a defeat at Utrecht.
The hosts are without Alassane Plea, Nick Olij, Guus Til, Mauro Júnior, Anass Salah-Eddine and Ruben van Bommel. AZ are missing Seiya Maikuma and Mateo Chávez through injury, while Kees Smit is suspended.
Boeren average 2.9 goals per game with 61% possession and have scored 17 headed goals this season. Joey Veerman leads the league for assists with 13, while Ismael Saibari has 12 league goals. For AZ, Troy Parrott is on 13 league goals and Jizz Hornkamp has 10, so the visitors' route may be quick service into their forwards, though they face a back line that has conceded only 30 times.
A home win would move the leaders to 68 points and strengthen the title push. Victory for AZ would take them to 42 points and could move them into the top five, boosting their play-off positioning.
