What makes this especially intriguing is where he would sit in the squad. Muniz offers physicality and presence, Kusi-Asare is one for the future, and Parrott could potentially bridge those timelines by arriving ready to contribute while still having room to improve. That is usually where the best recruitment lives.

The concern, naturally, is competition. Fulham are rarely shopping in a market without bigger names or European incentives arriving late in the process. Ajax, PSV and Betis all have obvious appeal. Como are ambitious too. So if Fulham want this to happen, the pitch to the player has to be precise and convincing.

Still, there is a lot to like here. A striker with form, confidence and something to prove in England often makes for a compelling signing. If the £25 million figure is accurate, it is not cheap, but it is also not outrageous in the current market. As a Fulham fan, this feels like one worth watching very closely.
