Pundit Darren Bent is spot on by questioning Chelsea not giving club legend John Terry a senior role at the club.
Terry has his academy role at Chelsea but other than that, he has never been given a role with the first team since retiring from the game. And many Chelsea fans have been left puzzled and fuming with that.

Terry should be involved in the first team setup, whether as a manager, assistant manager, or a defensive coach of some sort. But to not be involved at all and only having a part-time role in the academy, is just absolutely absurd.
Bent believes that it is bizarre that Terry is not involved and he is spot on. Imagine Terry in the dressing room last night ahead of the PSG game and then again at half time – there is no way we would have lost in the way we did, I am adamant about that.

In quotes picked up on X today, Bent claims it is ‘bizarre’ that John Terry hasn’t been offered an opportunity to manage at the senior level:
🗣️ “For someone who has that much experience, the knowledge he’s got, the clubs he’s played for, the trophies he’s won, he’s got a lot to offer. It does surprise me he’s not been offered a role.”
It’s not even a debate for me.
Pundit Owen Hargreaves had already given his take on the game and the whole Chelsea project. It was a scathing but true rant at the owners and everything they are doing wrong.
And if you want to put yourself through that torture again, you can see all three goals PSG scored on the night in the clips here.
