Pundit says AC Milan attacker would score more often at Juventus | OneFootball

AC Milan spent heavily to sign Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain during the last transfer window, while Juventus turned to the Ligue 1 club to secure Randal Kolo Muani. Both forwards now have the opportunity to prove in Serie A that Paris Saint-Germain should have given them more regular playing time.

At present, however, Kolo Muani is struggling at Juventus. The Bianconeri already had the Frenchman on their books after he spent the 2024/2025 season on loan with the club, impressing during the second half of the campaign. He was eager to return, and Juventus have now made his stay permanent, but his form has not yet reached the required level.

Luciano Spalletti has refused to give up on Kolo Muani. The Frenchman continues to receive the backing of his manager as he attempts to rediscover his best form, while AC Milan will also be hoping to see Ramos perform at his highest level.

Ramos Could Have Excelled

However, pundit Emiliano Viviano believes the Portuguese forward is better suited to Juventus and would have scored more goals had he joined the Bianconeri instead. The former goalkeeper believes Ramos would have made an immediate impact in Turin.

He said via Football Italia:

“The other day I made this example privately, but I’m firmly convinced of it: if Goncalo Ramos had played these six games with Juventus, he’d have five league goals. I’m telling you honestly.”

Viviano’s comments underline the contrasting situations facing the two forwards. Although Kolo Muani has struggled to make the desired impact, Ramos may have been better equipped to thrive in Juventus’ system and could have provided a greater attacking threat.

Different Challenges in Serie A

Ramos must now focus on establishing himself at Milan, where he will be expected to justify the club’s significant investment. Kolo Muani, meanwhile, has time to respond to his manager’s faith and demonstrate why Juventus wanted to bring him back after his previous loan spell.

Their progress will remain a major storyline in Serie A, particularly because both players arrived from the same club with considerable expectations. If Kolo Muani rediscovers his form and Ramos adapts quickly, both could still prove that Paris Saint-Germain underestimated their potential.
