“Kolo Muani’s goals will come, trust me, I like him. At the start of the season he had some problems and received a lot of criticism. Probably too much, although when you’re Juve’s number 9 and you’ve been paid a lot, that’s part of the game. Against Atalanta he worked for the team, he seemed to be clearly improving.

“He’s not a classic goalscorer, but he’s always scored goals. I expect at least 15 goals, maybe 20 this season. Kolo Muani is versatile and skilled even when playing wider or as a second striker.”

Kolo Muani will need to improve his performances and goalscoring output, and he will know that himself. Toni’s prediction provides an indication of the expectations surrounding the striker, while Juventus will hope he can begin delivering more consistently.
