Stefano Impallomeni has sent a message to Luciano Spalletti as the Juventus manager waits for more signings and deals with concerns about his current players.

The manager wanted several new players in his squad this summer, and Juve are trying to deliver that for him. However, no club signs every player their manager asks for in one summer, meaning Spalletti must work with the group currently available to him.

Juve are doing their best to ensure the squad is in superb shape by the end of the season, and the manager has faith that the team will be strengthened further. However, there is also the issue of his complaints about the poor form of Randal Kolo Muani in their first league match of the season.

Spalletti must improve Juventus

The striker joined them this summer, and much is expected from him, so his performance against Frosinone was far from ideal for the manager. Spalletti believes that the striker has to do better and take the chances he missed in that match.

Kolo Muani will be expected to improve as the season progresses, particularly because Juventus need their forwards to contribute consistently. While more signings could arrive before the window closes, the players already at the club must also perform at a higher level.

Impallomeni believes Juventus have a good manager at the helm, but he thinks the time has come for Spalletti to improve his players rather than simply complain about the players he does not have yet.

Impallomeni wants Spalletti to focus

He said via Tuttojuve:

“It’s the same Juventus that went to the Champions League with Tudor and missed out last year.

“It’s a good team and he will play it, although Spalletti needs to think about improving this team, rather than still thinking about the names that are circulating on the market.”

The message is clear, with Spalletti needing to focus on getting the best from the players already available to him. Juventus may still strengthen before the transfer window closes, but their progress cannot depend entirely on further arrivals.

The manager will have to improve the current squad while the club continues its transfer work. Kolo Muani is one player who needs to respond quickly, particularly after failing to make the desired impact in the opening league match.

Spalletti has been given responsibility for improving the team, and Impallomeni believes his priority should now be developing the players at his disposal rather than remaining focused on potential additions. Juventus will hope that approach helps them improve their performances this season.
