Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton is hopeful that midfielder Geoff Cameron will be available this weekend as the Hoops travel to Huddersfield.
The R’s are looking for a change in fortune results-wise this weekend after suffering two 2-1 defeats back-to-back in games that they will feel they should have got far more out of.
Indeed, against Bristol City on Tuesday night they should have been out of sight by half-time but, eventually, they lost out to the Robins.
They must go again against the Terriers, then, and Warburton is hopeful that Cameron will be back into the team with him back in training after missing the last couple of R’s matches:
Mark Warburton confirms #QPR are hoping Geoff Cameron will be fit this weekend against Huddersfield–
The Verdict
QPR have enjoyed dominant spells against sides that are tipped to be promotion contenders in recent matches but, as has been the case a lot this year, they have not capitalised.
The Hoops clearly have a very talented squad and when it does click at both ends they are going to go on a real run of form, but until it happens they will be sitting largely where they are in the table.
Cameron, hopefully for them, will be back this weekend and he’ll be eager to help shore things up in midfield to provide an extra bit of cover.
