Adrien Rabiot didn’t push to leave Milan last summer despite his connection with Massimiliano Allegri and has been one of their best performers in the early going, and Christian Pulisic has also finally snapped out of a lengthy scoring drought. Their extensions will be in the works in the coming months, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

The talks with the Frenchman are set to ramp up in October already. He’s currently tied to the team until 2028 with an option. The Rossoneri intend to add two more years to his contract, perhaps with a slight salary rise as well. The veteran didn’t come in with big figures. His transfer came together quickly after Olympique Marseille ousted him for a locker-room incident with Jonathan Rowe.

Rabiot was initially linked with a move to Napoli to reunite with his former coach, but he quickly silenced the buzz, and he could be rewarded accordingly, while the negotiation between Pulisic and Milan has been dormant for quite some time.

It won’t restart soon, but it’s about to become urgent. He began the season behind the eight ball after a lower-leg fracture he suffered in the World Cup. However, he has recovered and has tallied one goal and one assist.
