Raça Rubro-Negra will not attend Flamengo’s next two matches after an administrative sanction following a TAC, the supporters’ group said in a statement.
The absence covers the Libertadores quarter-final second leg against Independiente del Valle (EQU) on Thursday 17, and the Brasileirão game with RB Bragantino on Sunday 20. The measure follows recent clashes around the Maracanã.
The sanction goes beyond staying away from the stands, it also bars the entry of clothing and other items linked to the group in stadiums during the specified period.
Members are prohibited from using or carrying flags, banners or shirts that reference Raça Rubro-Negra at those two fixtures.
In its note, the group called for collective reflection on recent events, urging those involved to stop seeking culprits and focus on the future with the club kept as the priority.
It added that internal disputes must not outweigh the interests of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and appealed for unity and a change of posture.
