Rafa Mir is enduring a barren start at Aris, with eight appearances and 339 minutes without a goal or assist across the Super League and Kypello Elladas. His standing has dipped since starting the season, and his permanent exit from Sevilla is drawing closer.

Superdeporte reports that his role has shrunk in recent weeks. He began with 90 minutes on the opening day against Kalamata, then made four straight league appearances from the bench. He came on for just over half an hour at OFI Crete, featured as a second-half substitute against AEK Athens, did not play versus PAOK, and logged nine minutes against Iraklis.

His future at Nervión already has an end date. Although his contract runs to June 2027, the agreement with Aris includes an obligation for the loan to become a transfer in January 2027.

The deal will be for a symbolic fee, with Sevilla primarily aiming to end a stint of inconsistent returns and reduce their wage bill.

Mir kept the salary terms he had at Sevilla, declining a pay cut to ease the move. Aris are covering between 40 and 45 percent of his wages during the loan, with Sevilla paying the rest.

He is set to leave having played 105 matches for Sevilla, scoring 24 goals and supplying two assists. Expectations were not met in Andalusia, and form has yet to turn in Greece.
